A prime Democratic donation processor, Act Blue, is going through an investigation over issues that the donation processing service is getting used to avoid marketing campaign finance legal guidelines.
The Republican-led Home Oversight Committee launched the investigation, citing “studies of doubtless fraudulent and illicit monetary exercise” in a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

Act Blue didn’t reply to a request for remark.
