The Pac-12 has acquired one other main member in its revival bid. On Tuesday, Gonzaga College introduced that it had accepted an invite to hitch the convention.

In a joint assertion, the convention stated Gonzaga — becoming a member of 5 Mountain West packages being added in 2026 — “collectively cement the convention’s geographic basis whereas elevating its nationwide presence and strengthening its basketball and soccer status.”

Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Utah State will all depart the Mountain West convention over the subsequent two years — a part of an NCAA grace interval granted to the now-two-member Pac-12. After 10 authentic members left for different energy conferences this yr, Washington State and Oregon State remained.
