Greta Lee (Previous Lives, The Morning Present) has joined the forged of Kent Jones’ Late Fame, starring Willem Dafoe as a forgotten poet whose work is rediscovered by a gaggle of younger artists years after he fell into obscurity.
Lee is changing beforehand introduced Sandra Hüller, who needed to withdraw from the challenge on account of a scheduling battle.
She is going to play Gloria, a mercurial theater actress whose magnetic character and unpredictable attract upend the lifetime of poet protagonist Ed Saxberger, performed by Dafoe.
Produced by Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon of Killer Movies, Late Fame is directed by Jones (Diane) from a script written by Samy Burch (Might December).
The challenge launched at Cannes this 12 months and is represented by mk2 movies for worldwide gross sales exterior of North America, with Cinetic Media, UTA Impartial Movie Group and WME Impartial co-representing North American rights.
