EXCLUSIVE: Vertical has acquired North American rights to director Chad Hartigan‘s romantic comedy The Threesome, starring Zoey Deutch (Juror #2), Jonah Hauer-King (The Little Mermaid), and Ruby Cruz (Bottoms), slating the movie for launch in theaters on September 5.
World premiering not too long ago at SXSW, the movie takes place one fateful evening, as the celebs seem to align for Connor (Hauer-King), a form and unassuming younger man, as his irreverent long-time crush Olivia (Deutch) steers them right into a threesome with alluring stranger Jenny (Cruz). The encounter sparks a relationship between Connor and Olivia and their love grows shortly, all the way in which towards planning a life collectively.
