Earlier Sunday night the Police Chief lastly admitted that the riots are uncontrolled and his officers are outnumbered.
That is after the LAPD insisted the riots had been “peaceable.”
“We’re overwhelmed,” LAPD Police Chief Jim McDonnell stated.

Chief McDonnell stated he’s now on board with working with the Nationwide Guard because the violence is escalating.
“We had people taking pictures commercial-grade fireworks at our officers. That may kill you,” McDonnell stated.
