Russia unleashed its largest drone and missile assault on Ukraine in months on Friday (Dec 29), killing 10 individuals and wounding at the least 60 others in Kyiv, the south, west and east of the nation, officers mentioned.

Dozens of individuals had been wounded with injury reported at a maternity hospital within the central metropolis of Dnipro and buildings within the western metropolis of Lviv, the southeastern port of Odesa and the jap metropolis of Kharkiv.

Two individuals had been confirmed useless within the capital Kyiv, with extra individuals regarded as trapped below rubble at a warehouse broken by falling particles, Mayor Vitali Klitschko mentioned on Telegram messenger.

Two individuals had been killed within the Black Sea port metropolis of Odesa and at the least 15 had been injured, together with two youngsters, as missiles hit residential buildings, the regional governor mentioned.

“We will say that this was a large assault,” Yuriy Ihnat, the air power spokesman mentioned on tv.
