Kelsea Ballerini has filed for a short lived restraining order towards a fan who allegedly disseminated music that wasn’t completed with out permission.
The “Penthouse” singer has requested for the TRO towards Bo Ewing, whom Ballerini claims “with out authority or approval, surreptitiously gained entry to, copied and disseminated still-in-production, unreleased masters and demos” of her music.
“Defendant has already circulated the recordings to quite a few third events,” the court docket paperwork state. “These songs usually are not completed and no Plaintiff has given permission for his or her distribution or dissemination right now.”
Ewing is described in court docket papers as “a former member of Ms. Ballerini’s fan membership” and “a supporter of her profession previously” who “has since develop into disenfranchised with Ms. Ballerini.”
“[Ewing] has a historical past of hacking different well-known musician’s accounts and acquiring works and knowledge improperly,” the paperwork state.
Ballerini, Black River Leisure and producer Alysa Vanderheym secured an injunction to forestall “continued, irreparable hurt” from any additional unauthorized launch of the unfinished recordings.
