Anya Taylor-Pleasure is main a Netflix adaptation of Bella Mackie’s How you can Kill Your Household.
The Mad Max: Furiosa star will play the murderous Grace Bernard, the protagonist of Mackie’s e book.
Synopsis reads: Grace is the forgotten baby of Simon Artemis, a cruel billionaire. After a heartbreaking rejection, Grace decides to precise revenge. However will this lethal scheme take much more from Grace than she’s already misplaced?
“As quickly as I turned the final web page, I knew I needed to be part of bringing this story to life,” Taylor-Pleasure instructed Netflix. “After some (gentle) stalking of the inimitable Bella Mackie, I couldn’t be extra thrilled to be collaborating with the group that’s government producers Sally Woodward Light, Lizzie Rusbridger, and Emma. I’m wanting ahead to getting our palms even dirtier.”
Mackie added: “It’s been thrilling to look at the characters I wrote tackle new life underneath this magnificent artistic group. Anya is probably the most good match to play Grace: I usually assume she understands her higher than I do.”
The sequence is being produced by Killing Eve maker Sid Light and leads a splashy Netflix slate that has simply been introduced on the Edinburgh TV Pageant together with docs on Take That and Victoria Beckham.
Mackie, a journalist and creator, is EPing with Emma Moran, Sally Woodward Light, Lizzie Rusbridger and Lee Morris for Sid Light Movie, whereas Taylor-Pleasure will EP for LadyKiller.
