A police official on the scene advised CBS Information that three particles fields had been noticed within the water and at the least 18 our bodies had been recovered as of 10:30 p.m. CT.

The Gateway Pundit reported a second in the past {that a} mid-air collision occurred over the Potomac River close to Washington, D.C., involving American Eagle Flight 5342 and a U.S. Military Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin acknowledged that “in depth assets are totally dedicated to supporting the search and rescue efforts” after the crash.

Homeland Safety Secretary Kristi Noem additionally launched an announcement following the tragic occasion.
