Shannen Doherty, who starred because the angst-filled teenager Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills 90210 and later the great witch Prue on Charmed, has died. She was 53.
Her publicist, Leslie Sloane, stated in a press release to Folks, “It’s with a heavy coronary heart that I verify the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she misplaced her battle with most cancers after a few years of preventing the illness.
“The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and good friend was surrounded by her family members in addition to her canine, Bowie. The household asks for his or her privateness presently to allow them to grieve in peace,” Sloane stated.
Doherty had battled breast most cancers, first identified in 2015.
