A glimmer of hope to finish the greater than three-year warfare in Ukraine that has killed hundreds of civilians – and a whole bunch of hundreds of troopers.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has agreed to attend a gathering proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Istanbul on Thursday, so long as Putin is there in individual.
Putin desires the talks to first focus on the basis causes of the battle and take care of ceasefire negotiations later.
His plan can be supported by US President Donald Trump, who says the assembly will assist Ukraine’s allies, the US and European powers, resolve whether or not a ceasefire is feasible – and likewise the way forward for the warfare effort in opposition to Russia’s invasion.
Is the Russian chief making an attempt to deflect rising Western stress to conform to a 30-day unconditional ceasefire or face “large sanctions”?
And are the talks hosted by Turkiye more likely to make any progress in any respect?
