Trump, who was to have been sentenced on Nov 26, fought to dam that continuing earlier than he succeeds Joe Biden in January.

Trump’s authorized crew cited a landmark July ruling from the Supreme Courtroom that offers presidents sweeping immunity for official acts dedicated whereas in workplace as justification for his or her request.
