Chicago Blackhawks rookie phenom Connor Bedard is returning to the ice on Thursday for the primary time since he broke his jaw on Jan. 5.
The Blackhawks host the Pittsburgh Penguins as they attempt to snap a seven-game dropping streak. Due to the All-Star break from Feb. 1-3, it has been almost a month since Chicago final received on Jan. 19.
ESPN’s Emily Caplan notes the group deliberate for Bedard to return subsequent week. On Jan. 23, Blackhawks coach Luke Richardson urged he was removed from showing in a sport.
“It was six to eight weeks at the start was what was stated, so, like, I do not know; you are by no means going to know, however discuss to me in a month… He is not going to be again by then,” Richardson stated.
The harm occurred when Devils ahead Brendan Smith collided with Bedard on the assault after he sliced between two New Jersey defenders.
