To the editor: I want a “Yikes!” signal. I write to echo Robert Lloyd’s sentiments in regards to the elimination of traditional Warner Bros. animated shorts from Max (“‘Looney Tunes’ has been faraway from Max. For this reason it appears like an assault.” March 18). It’s an outrage. It’s calamitous. It’s nothing in need of “dethpicable.” You don’t take the Mona Lisa all the way down to make room for Keith Haring work. You construct a much bigger museum. Sheesh.

To the editor: I can relate to the disappointment of dropping these traditional cartoons, however we’ve discovered them on MeTV Toons on Spectrum. We spent a latest evening watching nothing however cartoons courting from the ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s, most of which starred the long-lasting Mel Blanc. Greatest evening of TV since we had been children!
