The BBC‘s incoming chairman has but to step foot on the company’s premises, however he has already waded into his first scandal.
Samir Shah, a long-time UK media govt, gave an unequivocal verdict on the newest social media posts of Gary Lineker, the BBC’s highest-paid presenter.
Shah mentioned Lineker’s posts on Twitter (now X) this week mocking Conservative politicians appeared to interrupt new social media guidelines put in place in September.
“I’d think about the BBC is now wanting into that and contemplating its response,” Shah informed Parliament’s Tradition, Media and Sport Committee.
