Hours after sending Toronto Blue Jays followers right into a frenzy over probably touchdown prized free agent Shohei Ohtani, the reporter chargeable for mid-day chaos has apologized. 

On Friday, Jon Morosi of MLB Community reported that Ohtani was on a flight to Toronto, hinting that an settlement with the Blue Jays was both finished or shut. That was not the case, although, prompting Morosi to come clean with his error on social media. 

Taking to X, previously Twitter, Morosi confirmed regret for reporting “inaccurate data.” 

“I remorse the error and apologize to baseball followers in every single place,” Morosi wrote. “I’m deeply sorry for letting you down.”
