Israel’s Netanyahu says Iran can pay for missile assault, as Tehran threatens a crushing response if Israel hits again.
Iran has carried out a significant missile assault on Israel – in retaliation, it says, to the killing of the leaders of Hezbollah and Hamas, in addition to a senior commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Israel says it intercepted many of the roughly 200 missiles, with the assistance of the US.
World leaders are urging each side to step again from the brink of a regional warfare.
However Israel has promised to reply, warning Iran can pay for its “large mistake”.
So, what would that response appear like? And after almost a 12 months of warfare on Gaza and a marketing campaign of air raids in Lebanon, is Israel capable of struggle on a 3rd entrance?
