With girls killed at alarming charges in Kenya, is the federal government doing sufficient to finish gender-based violence?

On January 27, 1000’s of protesters took to the streets throughout Kenya to sound alarm bells over the greater than 500 girls and ladies who’ve been killed within the nation since 2016. What’s inflicting the steep rise in gender-based violence in Kenya? And why aren’t the Kenyan authorities doing extra to finish what activists describe as a local weather of impunity or to guard girls in opposition to femicides that Human Rights Watch calls a nationwide disaster?
