US vice-president J.D. Vance has engaged in a theological battle of phrases with UK former politician turned podcaster Rory Stewart, with the American in the end claiming the Brit has a low IQ.
Stewart, who co-hosts the hit podcast The Relaxation is Politics with Tony Blair’s former aide Alistair Campbell, had taken subject with an interview Vance performed with Fox Information, during which the VP referred to “old fashioned Christian values”: He mentioned: “There’s a Christian idea that you just love your loved ones and then you definately love your neighbor, and then you definately love your group, and then you definately love your fellow residents, after which after that, prioritize the remainder of the world A variety of the far left has utterly inverted that.”
Stewart responded on X that these feedback represented “a weird tackle John 15:12-13 – much less Christian and extra pagan tribal. We should always begin worrying when politicians turn into theologians, assume to talk for Jesus, and inform us during which order to like…”
Such a reply caught Vance’s consideration, who promptly responded:
“I’ve mentioned earlier than and I’ll say it once more: the issue with Rory and folks like him is that he has an IQ of 110 and thinks he has an IQ of 130. This false conceitedness drives a lot elite failure over the past 40 years.”
Unsurprisingly, the confrontation has seen supporters of each males weigh in, together with Stewart questioning aloud if that is the vice-president difficult him to some type of IQ battle, a contest he appears ready to take part in, if Vance will title the time and place.
