Former Secretary of State and fan of ecologically unfriendly non-public jets, John Kerry, confronted a clumsy second when MSNBC’s Chris Jansing interrupted Kerry’s lecture on Russia with a fact bomb that prompted Kerry to flinch.
Jansing spoke with Kerry from Rome, the place the abortion supporting Kerry is on the town to attend Pope Francis’ funeral.
Jansing teased a query to Kerry by remarking that Pope Francis was a “voice for peace” and the Pontiff was an outspoken critic of the continuing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Jansing then said, “You have been Secretary of State when Russia annexed Crimea, and I wish to ask you…”
The remark prompted Kerry to bristle and interrupt, “However once they said they have been.”
“We didn’t permit them to annex it. And we stood and we stood up in opposition to it.”
“Proper,” Jansing confirmed. “They stated that it was theirs.”
“Yeah, they stated it, however beneath worldwide legislation, that doesn’t make it theirs,” Kerry retorted.
Jansing then pushed Kerry asking his opinion on President Donald Trump’s suggestion that Russia would keep management of Crimea.
“Nicely, who is aware of?” Kerry reacted. “I personally don’t agree with placing that on the market on the desk.”
