American gymnast Jordan Chiles has acquired the unlucky information that she must return her Olympic bronze medal from the ladies’s flooring routine.
After a Saturday choice by the Courtroom of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) overturned Chiles’ coach’s rating inquiry as a result of it was deemed to have been filed 4 seconds after the authorized deadline, the American was bumped down from third to fifth within the official standings.
Chiles coach believed her routine’s issue rating was incorrect and made a proper attraction instantly after her efficiency. The judges agreed that they had made a mistake, and the following rating correction bumped Chiles up from fifth to 3rd.
