Oscar-winning famous person Julia Roberts will narrate the BBC’s upcoming adaptation of Rónán Hession’s Leonard and Hungry Paul.
That is the Erin Brokovich star’s first BBC position and can see her present narration for the present about two board-gaming buddies of their thirties. The chums meander by leafy suburban life, charting a narrative about Judo, historic Rome, first loves and the enlargement of the Universe.
Revealed by Deadline a number of weeks again and airing later this fall, Leonard and Hungry Paul for the BBC and Irish broadcaster RTÉ stars Laurie Kynaston (Idiot Me As soon as, The Sandman), Jamie-Lee O’Donnell (Derry Women, Screw) and Alex Lawther (The Finish of the F***ing World, Alien: Earth). Additionally becoming a member of the solid are Helen Behan (The Virtues), Lorcan Cranitch (Bloodlands), Niamh Branigan (Harry Wild), Paul Reid (Sherlock & Daughter), Charlotte McCurry (Say Nothing) and David O’Reilly (Docs).
Richie Conroy and Mark Hodkinson are adapting the sequence for TV. Subotica is producing the present with Avalon.
