Kristen Stewart is saying her Happiest Season, the lesbian rom-com touted as the primary of its variety by a serious Hollywood studio, was a catastrophe.
“The id was overwhelmed out of my objectives there,” Stewart stated in an interview with Them journal. “I used to be getting so many studio government notes about my hair and my garments. I used to be like, ‘You probably did learn the script. You probably did rent me. What are we doing right here?’ It was fucking annoying.”
The difficulty was apparently the studio’s try and make the movie extra broadly interesting.
The studio executives wanted to “shroud issues for everybody to simply digest.” Whereas Stewart stated she’s “down with that,” director Clea Duvall bore the brunt of the adjustments. “Hats fucking hats off to Clea, as a result of I don’t have the endurance [for] that.”
Stewart’s newest, Love Lies Bleeding, is “fairly fucking sick,” in her phrases, which signifies approval of its sapphic stylings.
