To the editor: Lastly, excellent news among the many stream of doom and gloom protection of what’s occurring in Los Angeles (“With a surging residency charge, this neighborhood is reworking L.A.,” June 17). The comeback of downtown Los Angeles is not any shock to me, an 87-year-old who has lived in DTLA for 10 years. I moved downtown to be inside strolling distance of the foremost arts, cultural and sports activities venues that I really like. Not solely may I ditch my automotive, however I might be residing in a various neighborhood filled with millennials and their canine together with expats of all ages.
That lure of downtown remains to be alive and kicking at present because it attracts new residents regardless of troublesome instances.
