LONDON: Police in London stated on Sunday (Dec 24) that officers had arrested a second man on suspicion of theft and prison injury, after a Banksy paintings was faraway from a south London avenue nook inside hours of showing.
A person in his 20s arrested on Saturday over the incident the day prior to this has been launched on bail till a date in mid-March pending additional inquiries, the British capital’s Metropolitan Police Service added.
The Banksy set up, a site visitors cease signal coated with three plane resembling army drones, emerged at an intersection within the Peckham neighbourhood on Friday morning.
Lower than an hour after the elusive avenue artist confirmed it was his newest work – posting a photograph of it on social media – witnesses filmed it being eliminated by a person with bolt cutters, with the assistance of one other man.
