California Congresswoman Maxine Waters has insisted the continued riots in Los Angeles are peaceable.
Far-left protesters, prison opportunists and immigrant activists have descended on the streets of Los Angeles over the previous few days in an effort to push again towards President Trump’s efforts to deport the thousands and thousands of people who find themselves illegally residing throughout the nation.
Talking at a press convention on Tuesday, Waters argued that there was “no violence” in any of the protests, regardless of video proof on the contrary.
“Even those that have been out of step with what we’re advocating, peaceable protest, didn’t create any violence,” Waters stated.
“No person was shot. No person was killed. Get it in your head.”
