Formal extradition request despatched by Dhaka for her return to face trial.

Bangladesh desires India to extradite its former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to face prices of genocide and crimes towards humanity, amongst others.

She fled in August after a well-liked rebellion ended her 15-year rule.
