To the editor: As Democrats battle with whether or not to exchange Sen. Chuck Schumer as their Senate chief, why not draft Sen. Bernie Sanders to the celebration and elevate him to that place identical to the Republicans did with presidents Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump (“Trump and up to date features give the California Republican Occasion hope,” March 17)? When the Republicans elected each of them, the mainstream largely hated them however clearly each males succeeded in reworking their celebration and attracting tens of millions of individuals.
