Morgan Wallen has apologized for his arrest in reference to a chair-throwing incident from the roof of a Nashville bar.
On April 7, the 30-year-old nation star was arrested on three felony expenses, in line with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Division.
Wallen addressed his arrest immediately in a press release posted to his X account.
“I didn’t really feel proper publicly checking in till I made amends with some of us. I’ve touched base with Nashville legislation enforcement, my household, and the nice individuals at Chief’s. I’m not happy with my habits, and I settle for accountability,” he wrote. “I’ve the utmost respect for the officers working daily to maintain us all protected. Relating to my tour, there will probably be no change.”
The singer’s arrest got here days after he kicked off the 2024 leg of his “One Evening at a Time World Tour” earlier this month. He’s set to resume it on Saturday in Oxford, Mississippi.
Two officers had been in entrance of Chief’s Bar, a six-story bar-restaurant on Broadway, on the time of the incident. They noticed the chair fall, Nashville police stated.
Wallen was arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
He’s due in Nashville courtroom on Could 3 for “settlement.”
Chief’s is owned by nation singer Eric Church and opened its doorways simply two days previous to the incident.
