SEOUL: North Korea has denounced a declaration at a latest NATO summit that condemned Pyongyang’s weapons exports to Russia, calling the doc “unlawful”, state media stated Saturday (Jul 13).

In a joint declaration this week, NATO leaders condemned North Korea for “fuelling Russia’s conflict of aggression towards Ukraine”, by “offering direct army assist” to Moscow.

NATO leaders additionally voiced “profound concern” over China’s industrial assist to Russia.

Pyongyang has repeatedly denied allegations that it’s transport weapons to Moscow, however in June chief Kim Jong Un and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin signed an settlement that included a pledge to come back to one another’s army support if attacked.

Pyongyang’s Korean Central Information Company reported Saturday that the international ministry “most strongly denounces and rejects” the NATO declaration.

Citing a ministry spokesman, the company stated the declaration “incites new Chilly Struggle and army confrontation on a worldwide scale”, and requires “a brand new drive and mode of counteraction”.
