To the editor: Mustafa Barghouti, a West Financial institution doctor and politician, at first does sound average in his interview. He talks about Palestinian rights and the Israeli apartheid system. (“A Palestinian chief sees new power in U.S. — notably amongst younger Individuals — to confront Mideast disaster,” Aug. 6)
However in response to the final query, he’s unable to provide a full-throated condemnation of Hamas and its Oct. 7 assault on Israel: “It was a tragedy that so many Israelis have been killed [on Oct. 7], however the true tragedy is that they have Netanyahu as their chief.”
Actually? He can not condemn Hamas, a terrorist group? It is a average? No surprise the Palestinians haven’t any efficient management.
