The Rose Parade will see floral-decorated floats embellished to the theme of “Celebrating a World of Music: The Common Language.”
Volunteers have been assembling the floats forward of the stay parade set to happen on Monday, Jan. 1, beginning at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET.
Audra McDonald was chosen because the 2024 Grand Marshal by the Pasadena Match of Roses because the embodiment of this yr’s theme.
Members which are set to have a float at this yr’s parade embody American Armenian Rose Float Affiliation, Cal Poly Universities, Metropolis of Burbank, Metropolis of Hope, Metropolis of South Pasadena, Coding for Veterans, DirecTV, Discover Louisiana, Honda, Kaiser Permanente, Kindness is Free Powered by Boys & Women Golf equipment, La Cañada Flintridge, Odd Fellows & Rebekahs, Pasadena Humane (Hill’s Pet Diet) and the San Diego Zoo.

Metropolis of Hope’s float is titled “A Beautiful Day for Hope,” and it’ll have the participation of eight most cancers survivors alongside their medical doctors. Sonia Ray, a resident of Atlanta, shall be featured on the float after her bout with breast most cancers.
