Bravo and thanks for printing Pamela Paul’s sober-minded and empathetic column “No, I don’t wish to protest” [June 21, Opinion].
Having been a bus commuter trapped on Fourth Avenue at Westlake a number of occasions for regardless of the protest du jour was, I can with certainty say that nobody on the bus turned endeared to the protesters’ causes.
Aggravated, sure. Sympathetic, no.
The protesters, as deliberate, all the time draw consideration from the media and, witlessly, the ire of us widespread people who simply wish to get residence after a protracted day.
That’s no approach to win the final populace over to your trigger.
If they have to, can’t they at the very least muck up site visitors through the morning commute? It would draw extra favorable consideration from these not precisely desperate to get to work!
