MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday (Dec 22) vowed to deliver extra “destruction” to Ukraine in retaliation for a drone assault on the central Russian metropolis of Kazan a day earlier.
Russia accused Ukraine of a “large” drone assault that hit a luxurious condominium block within the metropolis, some 1,000 kilometres (620 miles) from the frontier.
Movies on Russian social media networks confirmed drones hitting a high-rise glass constructing and setting off fireballs, although there have been no reported casualties on account of the strike.
“Whoever, and nevertheless a lot they attempt to destroy, they’ll face many occasions extra destruction themselves and can remorse what they’re attempting to do in our nation,” Putin stated throughout a televised authorities assembly on Sunday.
