Jennifer Lopez’s first studio album in a decade, This Is Me…Now, has been set for launch on February 16, 2024.
Information comes down right now that there may also be a film “impressed by the music” releasing on the identical date. Amazon MGM Studios has acquired and can launch Nuyorican Productions’ This Is Me…Now: The Movie on Prime Video worldwide.
The discharge of This Is Me…Now celebrates the anniversary of its sister album, That is Me…Then, which was launched 20 years in the past. The brand new album, written and executive-produced by Lopez and Rogét Chayed, together with Angel Lopez, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, HitBoy, Tay Keith and INK amongst others, will mix R&B, pop, hip-hop and Lopez’s vocals.
That is Me…Now: The Movie is described as “a story pushed, intimate, reflective, horny, humorous, fantastical musical and visible reimagining of [Lopez’s] publicly scrutinized love life”.
The official press launch for the launch describes the venture as follows: “Together with Director Dave Meyers, Lopez creates a genre-redefining immersive cinematic expertise: an extravagant visible and sonic feast with spectacular choreography, star studded cameos, costumes, units and blockbuster-worthy visuals. Though an astonishing vivid spectacle, the movie is in the end a heartfelt ode to JL’s journey of self-healing and eternal perception in fairytale endings. Audiences shall be captivated and depart hopeful that real love might be greater than a dream.”
Can’t Get Sufficient, the primary single from This Is Me…Now: The Album, shall be launched on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
