Kyiv says Russian forces having ‘tactical success’ in assault on northeastern area on shared border.

Russia has widened its floor assault in Ukraine’s Kharkiv area, attacking new areas to attempt to broaden the entrance and stretch Ukraine’s forces, the area’s governor says.

“The enemy is making an attempt to intentionally stretch it [the front line], attacking in small teams however in new instructions, so to talk,” Governor Oleh Syniehubov stated in televised feedback on Monday.
