Secretary of Homeland Safety Kristi Noem took to X to shine a nationwide highlight on Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer and Petty Officer Scott Ruskin, who personally rescued 165 Texans amid devastating flash flooding in Central Texas.

A catastrophic flash flood over the Fourth of July weekend has devastated the Texas Hill Nation, significantly alongside the Guadalupe River in Kerr County.

A minimum of 51 fatalities have been confirmed throughout a number of affected counties. A minimum of 27 ladies from the Christian summer time camp are nonetheless lacking.
