To the editor: Like many Individuals, I’m important of the medical health insurance trade’s notoriously predatory practices. However I’m wholly repulsed by those that abide the infliction of bodily violence on its administration. (“Luigi Mangione pleads not responsible to homicide and weapons prices in UnitedHealthcare CEO’s demise,” Dec. 23)
Repugnant as Luigi Mangione’s alleged crime is, he completely deserves competent authorized illustration and a good trial. However that doesn’t entitle him to obtain a lot titillating media protection.
Sufficient of repeatedly seeing Mangione’s smugly defiant picture on TV information and in newspaper photographs. Similar goes for any pre-trial publicity of his skewed ideological conceits.
Let felony proceedings take their course. As soon as Mangione has been tried, ample pertinent proof will probably be out there for the general public to forged judgment on him.
