MAIDUGURI, Nigeria: A minimum of 18 individuals have been killed and 30 others injured after a collection of assaults by suspected feminine suicide bombers in Nigeria’s northeastern Borno state on Saturday (Jun 29), the pinnacle of the native state emergency administration company stated.

Borno is on the centre of a 15-year Islamist insurgency that has killed hundreds of individuals and displaced tens of millions extra. Though the Nigerian navy has degraded the capabilities of the militants, they nonetheless perform lethal assaults towards civilians and safety targets.

Barkindo Saidu, director common of the Borno State Emergency Administration Company, stated suspected suicide bombers individually attacked a marriage, funeral and hospital, killing and injuring a number of individuals within the city of Gwoza.
