The Taormina Movie Competition has named its 2025 winners.
Wrapping up the 71st version of the Sicilian-based competition, Saturday’s awards ceremony culminated within the large honor, Premio Migliore Movie (Finest Movie Award), going to Argentinian director Axel Monsú’s For Your Sake.
Premio Migliore Regia (Finest Director Award) was awarded to Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza for A24’s Warfare.
The Premio Migliora Attrice (Finest Actress Award) went to Ebada Hassan for her efficiency in director Nadia Fall’s Brides. Geoffrey Rush, who was additionally honored with the competition’s Excellence Award, received the Premio Migliore Attore (Finest Actor Award) for director James Ashcroft’s The Rule of Jenny Pen.
