The Brothers Solar star Justin Chien has spoken out following Netflix‘s determination to not proceed with a second season of the motion comedy-drama.
In an Instagram story, Chien reposted Deadline’s story that broke the information of the cancellation and reactions from the sequence’ casting director Jenny Jue and Kode Abdo, alongside together with his personal message to followers.
Noting that he would “take a while to digest the information,” Chien thanked followers of The Brothers Solar “from the underside of my coronary heart in your love and assist for the present.”
“Thanks for driving with us on this labor of affection,” he additionally wrote. “Your love made all of our collective work, sacrifices, and heartache, value it.”
In her message, reposted by Chien, Jue wrote, “I’m extremely happy with the present we made. Thanks to the followers who adore it as a lot as we do.”
Chien starred in The Brothers Solar alongside Michelle Yeoh, Sam Music Li, Joon Lee and Highdee Kuan.
Created by Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu, the sequence follows a Taipei gangster, Charles Solar (Chien), who’s settled into his life as a ruthless killer. However when his father is shot by a mysterious murderer, Charles should go to L.A. to guard his mom (Yeoh) and totally unaware youthful brother Bruce (Li).
