EXCLUSIVE: Author-director Nicholas Arioli has wrapped on the New Mexico shoot for his debut characteristic, absurdist Western comedy The Stalemate, including six to the solid. Newcomers embrace Jeremy Bobb (Them), three-time Emmy nominee Anthony Carrigan (Superman), Emmy nominee Paul Sparks (The Higher Sister), Critics Alternative nom Shea Whigham (American Primeval), Giorgia Whigham (Ted), and two-time Emmy winner Tony Hale (Opus).
Ben Foster, Manny Jacinto, and Fiona Shaw lead the solid, as we had been first to let you know late final month. The movie follows a robber (Jacinto) and sheriff (Foster) who, out of bullets and much from city, should negotiate their means out of an absurd, never-ending chase within the Previous West.
