Johnny Depp is recalling the second he was requested to step down from his position within the Harry Potter prequel collection Improbable Beasts amid private turmoil.
The actor sued The Solar newspaper for a 2018 story that described him as a “wife-beater” throughout his marriage to Amber Heard. After shedding the lawsuit in 2020, Warner Bros. dropped him from the position of Gellert Grindelwald.
