SINGAPORE: All 12 Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) servicemen who have been injured throughout Train Wallaby in Australia have rejoined the unit after receiving medical care, the Singapore Military mentioned on Wednesday (Sep 25). 

The servicemen have been injured after two armoured autos collided in Queensland on Tuesday. 

A Hunter armoured preventing car (AFV) rear-ended one other whereas shifting again to base at Shoalwater Bay Coaching Space, the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) mentioned on Tuesday night time.

The servicemen sustained “non-serious” accidents and have been taken to hospital.

In an replace on Wednesday, the Singapore Military mentioned that coaching has resumed. 

“Following the sharing of the incident, with emphasis on the necessity to keep the security distance, particularly when driving in poor visibility, coaching has resumed,” mentioned the military in a Fb submit.

Train Wallaby, which was first performed in 1990, is held on the Shoalwater Bay Coaching Space in Queensland.

This 12 months’s version began on Sep 8 and can run till Nov 3, and includes about 6,200 personnel, together with 500 operationally prepared nationwide servicemen.
