To the editor: One upon a time, in 1968, there was a presidential candidate, Richard Nixon, who claimed to have a “secret plan” to finish a battle, this one in Vietnam. However the battle continued and even expanded throughout a number of years following his election. Now, Donald Trump invitations us to consider that he’ll convey a fast decision to the battle in Ukraine if he’s elected president once more.
Trump may simply make issues worse. He may attempt to give Russian chief Vladimir Putin most of what he needs, threaten Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to make concessions, and begin to abandon the North Atlantic Treaty Group.
This isn’t going to finish properly if we give him the prospect.
