The Russian defence ministry stated on Sunday (Might 12) that its air defence forces had destroyed two Soviet-era typical ballistic missiles launched in a single day by Ukrainian forces over the Belgorod area.
Each Ukraine and Russia say they don’t goal civilians, though many civilians have been killed by either side within the battle. Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
The battle in jap Ukraine started in 2014 after a pro-Russian president was toppled in Ukraine’s Maidan Revolution and Russia annexed Crimea, with Russian-backed separatist forces preventing Ukraine’s armed forces.
