It’s not a shock that Jayson Tatum is in a scoring duel within the Jap Convention Finals. However nobody anticipated him to be battling Andrew Nembhard.
Nembhard scored to beat the buzzer and get Indiana to inside one level, trailing 58-57 at halftime. He scored 12 factors within the second quarter to get to 16 factors, tied for the game-high with Tatum.
In Sport 3, Tatum scored 36 factors whereas Nembhard almost matched him with 32 of his personal. They dueled once more in Sport 4, with Nembhard taking pictures 7-of-11 and Tatum going 7-of-14, with an and-one, within the first half.
Whereas Pascal Siakam and Jaylen Brown have every had their moments, it seems that Sport 4 might come right down to Nembhard hanging with Tatum offensively. In fact, Tatum averaged 26.9 factors this season, whereas Nembhard averaged… 9.2. Benefit, Celtics.
