The stifling of voices across the globe supporting Palestinians is placing the ideas of free speech to the check.
The warfare on Gaza is being waged on the bottom and within the realm of public opinion, placing the ideas of freedom of speech to the check. Since Hamas’s October 7 assaults on southern Israel and Israel’s warfare on Gaza was launched, many demonstrations in solidarity with Palestinians have been banned, critics of Israel censored, fired and even detained for talking their minds. What does the silencing of supporters of Palestine say in regards to the world proper now, and what are the implications of stifling voices in instances of warfare?
