KYIV: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Thursday (Sep 19) that Ukrainian forces had lowered the potential of Russian troops to launch assaults within the Donetsk area on the jap entrance of the greater than two-and-a-half-year-old warfare.

Zelenskyy, talking in his nightly video handle after conferring with commanders, stated the army was doing its utmost “for the resilience of our battle brigades”.

“Presently, the Ukrainian Defence Forces have managed to decrease the occupiers’ assault potential in Donetsk area,” he stated.

The state of affairs, he stated, remained “critically troublesome with robust battles day-after-day” within the two sectors of the jap entrance subjected to probably the most Russian assaults – close to the cities of Pokrovsk and Kurakhove.
