The dying certificates — obtained by The Blast however not confirmed by the actor’s household — lists “atherosclerotic heart problems” as his official reason behind dying. In response to the doc Weathers handed away at his dwelling in Venice, California on Feb. 2 at 12:18 am.
The dying was listed as “pure,” with the doc saying that Weathers had suffered from coronary heart illness for years.
The certificates describes the actor as having spent 51 years within the leisure business.
Weathers starred as Apollo Creed within the first 4 Rocky movies and appeared in Predator, The Mandalorian, Pleased Gilmore, Motion Jackson, Arrested Growth and dozens of different movies and TV reveals.
In a press release on the time of his dying, Weathers’ household mentioned that “he died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 1st, 2024.”
